Cancellation Policy
We understand life happens and schedules change. In the event your schedule does change we will do our best to adjust. The more notice, the better chance we have to make the adjustment.
If you need to cancel your ride, we will refund your tour price if cancelled 72 hours prior to tour. Credit card refunds will be accessed a 10% service fee. If the cancellation is less than 72 hours, CycleDC will be happy to issue a credit you can use later, or give to someone else. And no, it will not expire or self destruct in six months.
While our goal is to give you the best tour possible, your safety is always at the forefront of all we do. For that reason, we may cancel tours when riding may be hazardous; i.e. thunderstorms, high winds (it's just not any fun trying to fight a 25mph headwind, or maintain your balance against a 35 mph crosswind that knocks you sideways), excessive heat or cold (we live here so the temps are normally fine for us, but may not be for you, if you are from Alaska or Iceland), or any other crazy weather that isn't fit for riding in. All cancellations are at our discretion, and while we want to give you as much notice as possible, sometimes the weather patterns may not allow it. We reserve the right to alter or cancel a tour with little or no notice, when we believe it is in the best interest of the rider(s). In the event we have to cancel, you may reschedule the ride, or receive a full refund.
